I started The Lawyer in London with a simple goal: to make important legal topics - especially those around alternative paths to parenthood and life without children - more visible, more understandable, and far easier to access.
At its heart, The Lawyer in London is about building a strong, supportive community where people can speak openly about alternative routes to parenthood, including life without children - regardless of background, circumstance, or family structure. My aim is to create a genuine sense of belonging and connection, free from stigma, for communities that are often large in number but rarely given a real voice.
Through conversations, interviews, and shared experiences, I want to use my platform to amplify voices that are too often unheard, helping to change perceptions around alternative family structures. As one of the few legal voices openly supporting and discussing these topics, I share real stories that reflect the diverse lives of families today, providing expert legal advice and solutions tailored to unique situations.
I have written extensively on these issues and have been interviewed on how to plan your estate for non-traditional family structures. This website is about sharing legal expertise without the legal jargon overload, and to give you an overview of the legal expertise and representation I can assist with through my practice at gunnercooke.
My Instagram blog shares regular legal insights, with a particular focus on paths to parenthood, while keeping things accessible and human. I'll also be sharing a monthly blog about life as The Lawyer in London (and hopefully without sounding like too much of a dinosaur!). If you would like to keep in touch, you can subscribe to my newsletter below.
Feel free to contact us whenever and however suits you! You can call us or email us for expert legal advice. Better yet, see us in person! My team and I are London solicitors but we have meeting facilities in London, Kent, and Sussex. We can also meet you via Microsoft Teams.
